About our Program

Mission Statement

The D-Bat Mustangs Softball Organization was established in January 2011 to support and develop amateur athletes for local, regional and national sports competition. Our goals are to develop young women physically and mentally through competitive fastpitch softball and supporting those athletes desiring to compete at higher levels. The organization will openly provide opportunities for athletes through individual and team instruction, specific direction and tournament experience. Our athletes are coached through applications of our core values of education, teamwork, positive discipline, fun and personal accomplishments.

D-BAT History

D-BAT was founded in 1998 and is considered by many to be one of the premier baseball and softball training facilities in the country.

The original D-BAT was located in a small facility in North Dallas with two employees – Cade and Kyle Griffis. As a former collegiate and professional baseball player, Cade has a core belief that each player plays a different game and should be taught to maximize his or her talents to suit his or her game. Kyle, a former collegiate athlete himself, oversees the day-to-day operations of D-BAT Dallas including managing the pro shop and handling uniform sales.

D-BAT has opened various locations throughout the DFW metroplex and also in Tulsa, Oklahoma this year.
Each D-BAT location boasts an exceptionally well-lit, indoor climate-controlled facility, featuring flat screen televisions and an environment that invites parents to be a part of their ballplayer’s development. Come by and check out D-BAT!
